The studio has seen a significant increase in enrollment over the last few months. Our recitals for this academic year will be huge, and we're extremely excited.
As such, we have adjusted our teaching schedule as follows, effective today:
Mondays: 5PM-7PM
Tuesdays: 6PM-7:30PM
Wednesdays: 6PM-7:30PM
Thursdays: 6PM-9PM
Fridays: 5:30PM-7PM
Saturdays: 9AM-11AM

Just some announcements:
This September, I'm amazed to be celebrating my 30th year of teaching piano (and 28th year running my studio). It's a stark reminder of how time flies. I'm deeply grateful to be able to continue my first love and passion, music, and for all my incredible students and their dedication.
Kindly note, effective September 1st, 2024, the studio schedule is as follows:

Saturdays: 9AM-11AM
Our second annual Christmas Recital will be held on Sunday, November 17th, 2024, at 1 p.m. More details will follow as the date approaches. (Psst, kids, start thinking of your pieces!).
Lastly, the studio will be closed from November 24th, 2024 to November 30th, 2024. Enjoy the extra week off (but please continue to practice)!

Hello everyone,
I hope you all had a great summer!
I just wanted to let you know that the studio has purchased two (yes, TWO!) new pianos: a Kawai ND21 for the studio and a Kawai K400 for recitals.
It was sad to part ways with the old Schumann piano, which had been greatly used for the last 12 years. I am grateful that she found a new owner who will continue to enjoy it for many years to come!
A million thank yous to Brent Wirth at Merriam Music for facilitating the upgrades!

We regret to inform you of the passing of our mother, Magdalena Gahunia, today.
The studio is closed during this time. We will resume lessons after the March Break (week of March 18th, 2024).
Mom has been trying her best to recover. She remains in ICU at this time. We are all hoping for her to be able to come back home as soon as possible.
I will continue to keep everyone updated. On behalf of my family, we thank you all for your well-wishes, understanding and support.

Unfortunately for us, the last few weeks were extremely stressful as our mother has been in the ICU since mid-December last year. Sadly, we do not know what will happen, so we are taking it day-by-day and wanted to advise everyone that there may be last-minute cancellations.
